August 1 - August 4 AND August 8 - August 11 (2 weeks): Reading Clinic (Grades 3 - 8)

Reading should be fun and engaging! The purpose of this Summer Reading Clinic is to improve students' reading success from sixth through eighth grade. Students will be enriched with reading strategies, visualization, and multimedia to keep their focus on learning with hands-on, computer-based, individual, and group activities. This is a two week intensive reading and writing program with a variety of differentiated activities focusing on the development of language, reading, and writing skills. Students have the option to select a book from their assigned summer reading list to use in class.

THIS CLASS WILL RUN:

• August 1 - August 4 (Mon - Thur)
• August 8 - August 11 (Mon - Thur)

 For a total of TWO weeks of class time, 8 days total for rising 3rd to 8th graders.
