August 1 – August 4: What's Your Opinion - Debate 101 for Beginners (Grades 4 - 6)
In this class students will be introduced to debate to extend students' abilities to analyze and interpret informational texts, strengthen students' reading strategies and fluency, and help students develop persuasive speaking and writing skills. Students will also learn a formal strategy to team debating.
