July 25-28: Strategy Games (Grades 6 - 8)

Believe it or not, gaming existed before the world of video and computer gaming. Come learns the roots of strategy based gaming and enjoy an older form of entertainment as a refresher or for the first time. The class will explore classic games like Checkers, Chess, or Othello. We will also learn the basics to "newer" classics like Dungeons and Dragons or Magic the Gathering. Strategy games are great for improving critical thinking, concentration, memory and creativity.
