(Grades 6 to 8) Introduction to Business

Introduction to Business

At the beginning of the course, the middle school students will be given 3 questions relating to their favorite ways of learning. This will allow the course to be properly tailored to their learning styles.

I. Introduction

• The Introduction to Business class will allow the middle school class to understand the basic transactions in the business world with focus on application. The goal for the middle-class students is to provide foundation of knowledge they need to succeed in any business-related courses throughout their academics as well as spark their interest in learning more. 

II. Objectives

1. Be able to understand how the departments of a business operate independently and together while contributing to the overall success of the business
2. Gain insights of how to market and promote company’s products and services
3. Understand how business-related topics affect us in our daily lives

III. Educational Activities

• Through simple graphs and charts the students will be able to learn new business concepts and use their creativity to make sound business decisions

This Class runs for 4 weeks IN-PERSON: 11/13/21, 11/20/21, 12/4/21, 12/11/21

COVID Protocol: All students, vaccinated and unvaccinated, are required to wear a mask at all time.
