Improving Cross-Culture Communication and Broaching Difficult Topics 10/13/20

Audience: All School Personnel

Description: This professional development workshop will review cultural commonalities among diverse populations and highlight key considerations for cross cultural communication. Participants will discuss various types of micro-aggressions and how to effectively repair them. Lastly, participants will discuss the importance of advocacy for new cultures in their school environment and how schools can become social justice advocates.
