Earth Counts: Interdisciplinary Human Ecology for the Digital Classroom 10/21/20(PDS School Only)

Audience: K-5 Interdisciplinary

Description: Join Population Education for a K-5, cross-curricular professional development workshop highlighting distance- learning lesson plans! Teachers will participate in several digital activities perfect for incorporating science and social studies into your math or ELA curriculum. Population Education seeks to promote engaging, issue-based learning while meeting NGSS and New Jersey Student Learning Standards. Teachers will leave this workshop with ready-to-go virtual lesson plans to help their students think critically, solve problems, and make informed decisions about the world around them. Each educator will receive access to an online resource library with over forty standards-aligned lesson plans and access to distance-learning specific resources in google- drive.
