ELA Meets SEL 2 11/10/20(PDSSchools Only)

Audience: Grades 4-12

Description: Participants will examine traditional practices and research calling for restructuring the instructional model. Since remote learning emphasizes the need for connectivity electronically, socially, and emotionally, the need for lessons fostering creativity and skill-building while providing an atmosphere of safety and security for students will be examined. Strategies to design lessons that address skills as well as occasions in our lives that necessitate comforting will be examined and shared. Cross-curricular options will be explored.
