(Grades 8 to 12) Jazz Workshop

Grades 8-12

The WP Jazz Studies Program together with the School of Continuing Education, will offer a comprehensive online class for high school students of all levels in jazz improvisation, theory, history, literature, and essential listening.  The five-Saturday class will include virtual playing opportunities and classroom-like discussions about where jazz came from and its influence on today's music. This class will take place over the course of five Saturdays starting January 16 and ending February 6 for 3 hours each Saturday, from 9:00 am-12:00 pm.
