(Grades 4-9) Summer Life Online 8/3 - 8/7/20

Miss Summer Life on Campus? Catch up with Coach A and Miss Laura in our online version of Summer Life.  Try and beat Coach A in various physical exercises in the morning and relax and learn some valuable writing tools with Miss Laura in the afternoon.

Morning Class will run 9:30AM – 11:30AM

Celebrity Athletes

Think of your favorite athlete, the one you look up to most. Have you ever thought about what they’ve done to get so fast, strong, or powerful? Have you ever watched them in their sport and felt like you want to play like they do? Guess what! You can and as long as you work hard, you will! In the Celebrity Athletes virtual class, we will research chosen athletes, their workout routines, and their training schedules. Then, we will complete these workouts together as a group! Anyone that beats Coach A. in the workout, either by finishing earlier or doing more repetitions in a time limit, gets to pick the celebrity athlete’s workout we do next!

We will also take a look at the recommended amount of physical activity for our age group and the benefits that come from regularly meeting these recommendations. Then, we will become personal trainers and create an effective training schedule for a partner that includes workouts with exercises specific to that person!

Equipment Needed: Access to Google Classroom and Google Meets

Afternoon Class will run 1:30PM – 3:30PM
