Birth through Adulthood: An Introduction to the Beginning Stages of Human Development

Human Development Workshop for students in grade 8 through 12

Are you interested in working with children? This workshop will cover the basics of human growth from birth to adulthood. Topics will include social, cognitive, and emotional development during the beginning stages of growth. Participants will learn how to apply these concepts to understand the needs of, and optimally interact with, babies, children, adolescents, and young adults. This workshop is a great fit for anyone who wants to be a teacher, day care-worker, health career professional, and/or childcare/babysitter.

GOING VIRAL: CREATING A YOUTUBE CHANNEL (Grades 7 & 8)

YouTube has changed the way that people learn and share ideas. Now is your chance to have start your own YouTube channel. In this class, students will learn how to create and edit videos using online and computer resources. As well how to create videos with the viewer in mind. The class will also cover the importance to on-line safely and posting tips. By the end of the class students will have a series of videos that they can share with family and friends.
