The Business of Sports and Entertainment 7/30-8/3/18

Students will learn how professional athletes, sports teams, and well-known entertainers are marketed as commodities and how some of them become billionaires as a result. This course introduces the fundamentals of the business that operate behind the scenes of a major sporting event such as the Super Bowl or major motion pictures and television. Projects and activities will simulate scenarios that will allow students to envision a role as a decision maker in the most exciting facets of the business world today.
