Property and Casualty Training Program (at Raritan Valley Community College) February 2018

Participants involved in this four (4) week program will be taking classes at Raritan Valley Community College.  The program will includes four weeks of Property and Casualty  Pre-licensing in-person Training.  This training course will cover: Ethics, Annuities, Workers Compensation, Long-Term Care, Retirement Plans, Flood Insurance, Estate Planning, Disability, NJ PAIP/CAIP, Financial Planning, Minimizing Errors and Omissions, Business Insurance, Recognizing Fraud, Directors and Officers Liability Insurance.  This will take place for 6 hours a day .  Once paired with an Insurance Agency, the participant will complete 15 internship hours in an insurance agency.  

This course will prepare participants to take the Property and Casualty Insurance Licensing Exams. If all exams are passed, we will help the applicant apply for their license through the NJ Department of Banking and Insurance. Exam/licensing fees are not included in the cost of the course. 

Internship hours vary.

Books will be provided by William Paterson University.
