2)             Gardening for Nutrition by Florida AITC

3)             First Peas to the Table by Susan Grigsby

4)             My American Farm

 As we review each title, we teach a lesson and supply the plans, materials, and Common Core Standards so teachers can plant the seeds of Math and Literacy in their students using Agriculture. Each of the books we have chosen is an Accurate Ag Book, which means they tell our farming story with facts, feelings and fun IWe will have a panel of preschool educators present ideas, strategies and techniques in response to many of the common behaviors that take place in the preschool classrooms. Time will be allotted for participants so bring your questions and your scenarios!
