MORNING CLASS: Shark Tank

Students in this program will learn persuasive communication and influence skills as an extension of their personality.  Using I.D.E.A. (Instruction, Demonstration, Experience, and Assessment) the process that has been adopted to enable students to maximize their development by utilizing proven sales techniques to have an immediate impact to influence others.  Students will be recorded and provided with team and facilitator feedback in our College of Business Russ Berrie Institute Lab based on the techniques they studied in class.  Students will be able to take home a DVD of their sales engagements to assist them in advancing their current skill levels. We encourage students who register for this course to consider registering for all business courses in order to maximize learning.   Do you have an innovative spirit? Do you lack the confidence to present yourself or your ideas? Would you like to claim the power that comes from being able to persuade people to see this your way?  This class is for you!

AFTERNOON CLASS: Creating Your Brand

Brand name products often indicate higher quality items.  How often do you find yourself reaching for a specific brand?  If you branded yourself, what would your brand be?  How would you show your top-notch quality to the world?  In this class, you will learn your strengths and how to showcase them by branding yourself. Come up with your mission statement, slogan and a brand that sets you apart from the competition.  This is a hands-on creative session sure to build confidence.
