MORNING CLASS: Model-Making Using a 3D Printer

Learn to design and create space ships and super hero figurines to candles and soaps using a 3D printer. This is a beginner’s class where you will learn to design, model and handcraft your very own designer objects using a CAD software and transform them into 3D printed models. Next we will use the 3D models to create replicas and ultimately into space ships, action hero figurines or designer candle of your very own design. These models can be painted on using your painting kit for that awesome look! Bring your creative ideas and convert them into exciting real-world objects!

AFTERNOON CLASS: Business Law for Future Entrepreneurs

The course will be designed to teach students to think like a lawyer. In other words, to be able to think logically, and to apply the law to the facts presented, in order to make a winning argument concerning the issue at hand. Students will learn how to think critically so as to include all possible outcomes, analyze the facts, read and understand the law, and summarize all of these factors in preparation for assigned homework projects. Specifically, students will be introduced to the variety of business forms, including General Partnerships, Limited Liability Partnerships, Limited Partnerships, Limited Liability Limited Partnerships, Corporations and Limited Liability Companies. Students will be introduced to advantages and disadvantages of each available business form and acquire knowledge and ability to discuss business law concepts and problems.
