Today's Nurse Series - The Hidden Job of a School Nurse (Current WPU Students Only)

In partnernship with the William Paterson University Department of Nursting and St. Joseph's Hospital, the School of Continuing and Professional Education at William Paterson University presents:

The Hidden Job of a School Nurse

This symposium is being offered for nurses who work with or plan to work with children in an educational setting. Nursing studentsformer school nurses, social workerscounselors, teachers, and parent liasons are also encouraged to attend. Speakers will address protocols to support children who suffer from depression, anxiety, and school phobia. The keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Bindu Khanna, Child Psychiatrist at St. Joseph's Medical Center.

This activity has been submitted to Montana Nurses Association for approval to award 4.0 contact hours.  Montana Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

Teachers are eligible to recieve 4 PD Hours for attending this event. If you are a teacher interested in earning PD Hours for this event, please email Johanna Prado at pradoj2@wpunj.edu.
