Property, Casualty, and Liability Training Program (at William Paterson) 02/06 - 05/05/17

Participants involved in this thirteen (13) week program will be taking classes at William Paterson University.  The program will includes six weeks of Property, Casualty and Life Pre-licensing in-person Training.  This training course will cover: Ethics, Annuities, Workers Compensation, Long-Term Care, Retirement Plans, Flood Insurance, Estate Planning, Disability, NJ PAIP/CAIP, Financial Planning, Minimizing Errors and Omissions, Business Insurance, Recognizing Fraud, Directors and Officers Liability and Life Insurance.  This will take place for 5 hours a day for two days per week.  Once paired with an Allstate Agency, the participant will complete 5 internship hours per day for two days per week.  Participants will also be taking Business Etiquette and Communication and Work Style classes as part of this program.  These classes will help participants adjust their style to build more cohesive teams, deal with conflict and build strategic relationships.

This course will prepare participants to take the Property, Casualty and Life Insurance Licensing Exams. If all exams are passed, we will help the applicant apply for their license through the NJ Department of Banking and Insurance. Exam/licensing fees are not included in the cost of the course. 

Internship hours will be fulfilled on Mondays and Tuesdays. 
In-person class will take place on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Total hours per week: 20 

Books will be provided by William Paterson University.
