Crafting Exceptional College Essays 2/25-3/4/17

A blank computer screen and a looming deadline can be a scary combination when it comes to the college essay. This three-day course will help students to put together an attention-grabbing essay. Students will learn to keep the audience in mind as they answer essay questions compellingly with their own unique spin. The class uses a series of exercises, writing prompts, and class discussion to help students to complete a draft of their college essay by the end of the session.

This class meets Saturdays on February 25,2017  and March 4, 2017.

Instructor information: Sue Toth has been has been a lover of words for as long as she has been able to read. Besides owning and operating a business writing and book editing company, she also teaches writing to students at County College of Morris and Caldwell University. She has taught reading, writing, vocabulary, and grammar to high school and middle school students. Sue is the mother of three, including two college students, so the college essay writing process is near and dear to her heart.
