Guitar in Classical, Jazz and Rock (Resident) 7/9-7/14/2017

Designed to provide students with an intensive and fast-paced experience, this program exposes them to new concepts and skills in preparing to perform on the guitar. They will receive private lessons and master classes, and participate in daily ensemble rehearsals and classes in technique, guitar history, performance development, and other related topics.   

College Resident Experience Description:

William Paterson University lays down the foundation to prepare student for success, with an option to stay on campus to experience college life.  While the focus is on academics and learning, the social experience that results from bringing students together is an integral part of our summer program.  Students discover the joy of living, studying, and relaxing on a beautiful suburban university campus with state-of-the-art facilities, design, and technology. Students will participate in structured and supervised evening activities and dine in our cafeteria (students will be assigned a roommate and two suitemates).  Resident students will participate in evening enrichment workshops with other Pre-College summer youth residents’ on-campus for social activities. College students are hired to mentor, supervise and reside with the resident students.   

This is an opportunity not to be missed!

Only students who have registered for a full-day or combination of two half-day programs (morning and afternoon) have the option to register for the College Resident Experience.

9AM to 4PM – Academic Classes (a full-day or combination of two half-day programs (morning and afternoon) 

4PM to 9PM – Evening Activities
