Making A Difference: Community Leadership and Web Design 7/11-7/15/16

Morning Program: Making A Difference: Leadership through Community Service

Who are the leaders of tomorrow? What are you doing to make a difference today? How are you lending a helping hand? This workshop empowers students to be positive role models and to strive to realize their potential without minimizing the value of teamwork.  Students will participate in a variety different leadership exercises and also partake in community service activities in and around the William Paterson campus. Students will learn more about themselves, others, and the world around them through fun and interactive activities, while building techniques to develop trust and collaboration.  In this 24/7 connected world, this program will help students understand different types of leadership styles, how to work with others, and how important their contributions are to the community and beyond. Students will receive a certificate of completion at the end of the program for leadership and service (10 hours of community Service).
