Embracing Improvisation: Starting on a Creative Journey 7/11-7/15/16

Improvisation is the master key to unlocking creativity. Learning to improvise with music will help students unlock creative doors and express their feelings. This course will involve musical improvisation with instruments and voice. The purpose of this course is to help students feel more confident in themselves as innovative creative members of society. Students will learn to have confidence in themselves, acquiring the ability to focus, shutting out the inner voice that doubts and discourages.  This course will help students learn to not be afraid to try new things in front of their peers that may seem scary or awkward. The most important thing, is we will have fun exploring creative outlets by performing, sharing ideas, and learning from each other.
