Bio Plastics and C++ Combo 7/18-7/22/16

Morning Program: Bio Plastics

Students will be using the engineering design process to create bioplastics. The plastics will be primarily made out of starch materials.  Students will conduct qualitative and quantitative investigations.  This STEM activity will show students what an everyday chemical engineer work day looks like! 

Afternoon Program: C++ 

Learn the basics of how to create a computer program using Microsoft Visual Studio C++. Take a hands-on approach to create basic utilities (like a calculator) and simple games like “guess the number”, ”tic-tac-toe”, and more. Best of all, you get to keep your games!
