Using 3D Printing for Arts & Crafts 2/20-3/19/16

Learn to create candles, soaps and ornaments using a 3D printer. You will learn to design, model and handcraft your very own designer candles and soaps. This is a beginner’s class where we will model your design ideas in a CAD software and transform them into a 3D printed models. Next we will use the 3D models to create replicas and ultimately into candles, soaps and ornaments of your very own design. Participates will keep their designed molds and continue to replicate their unique designs. Bring your creative ideas and convert them into an exciting real-world objects!

This program is five (5) sessions that meets Saturday mornings from February through March 2016.

Safety: This course will use hot liquids (melted candle wax and soaps) and X-acto knife for trimming materials. Students must follow universal safety procedures and precautions.
