Music Biz 101 & More: Offered for Students Ages 12-18

This course offers the basics of the music & entertainment industry.  How do I make money from YouTube or Spotify?  What is a publisher?  How do I protect myself from the circle of sharks who (may) just want my money?  What should be my social media & networking strategy?  How do I promote my shows & events so somebody comes?  The focus: Forging your path to music & entertainment industry success. 

Students must bring their own instruments with the exception of piano and percussion.

When required, textbooks will be provided at a cost by the instructor.
