Middle School Resident Experience 7/12-7/17/15

William Paterson University lays down the foundation to prepare middle school student (students entering 6^th grade in September 2015) for success, with an option to stay on campus to experience college life.  While the focus is on academics and learning, the social experience that results from bringing students together is an integral part of our summer program.  Students discover the joy of living, studying, and relaxing on a beautiful suburban university campus with state-of-the-art facilities, design, and technology. Students will participate in structured and supervised evening activities, dine in our cafeteria, exercise in our fitness facility, participate in organized group recreation activities, complete group project assignments with their roommate and/or suitemate, and meet new friends and mentors. The course selected will have some personalized evening activities and students will also join our larger on-campus group for social activities. College students are hired to mentor, supervise and reside with the middle school residents.   This is an opportunity not to be missed!

Our middle school student/resident will be presented with a rich array of activities, an exciting recreational programs, three meals, snacks, and over-night accommodations, in the University Residence Hall. WP empowers teens and prepares them for excellence – personally, academically, and in their chosen path in life.  

Only students who have registered for a full-day or combination of two half-day programs (morning and afternoon) have the option to register for the Middle School Resident Experience.

9AM to 4PM – Academic Classes (a full-day or combination of two half-day programs (morning and afternoon) 

4PM to 9PM – Evening Activities
