z/OS Mainframe Associate Certificate 06/04-10/02/18

z/OS Mainframe Associate Certificate will give you a basic understanding of the mainframe’s usage and architecture. We will give you an overview of the fundamentals of z/OS a widely used mainframe operating system. You will get a knowledge of workloads and the major middleware applications in use today on mainframes. And we will give you the basis for subsequent course work in more advanced, specialized areas of z/OS, such as system administration or applications programming.
Linux Implementation for System Z : This course will teach you how to install and configure Linux running on System Z. The course will provide the benefits of running virtualized on System Z hardware. It will also teach you basic Linux commands along with understanding of journal file system, hierarchical file system, network file system, and logical volume manager. Advanced subjects will be covered such as cloning Linux images and backup & restore. The course will cover zVM commands that are needed to work with Linux on Z.
