Saving your Home: How to be an Environmentalist 7/20-7/24/15

Do you consider yourself an environmentalist? Want to help make the world a better place? If so, this is the course for you. In this class, you will learn about what climate change is and how it is impacting our environment through a combination of theory-based learning and hands-on experiences. Students will be able to build leadership skills through working collaboratively with peers while problem-solving. You will also learn how YOU can help by making small changes in your daily life that will lead to positive changes for the planet. Students will be tasked with coming up with a solution to an issue and help by raising awareness for it in the community. This class will leave you with the inspiration and tools to be a life-long advocate for the environment and continue to solve for environmental change!

                                Class activities are organized based on students age/grade level.
