Peace and Civic Engagement through Non-Violence Communication 8/3-8/7/15

Civic Engagement and Non-Violence Communication are peaceful methods to create a change in themselves or their communities.  The broad-based and specialized workshop that empowers students to contextualize the knowledge to their own situations.  With the help of guest speakers, students will learn more about themselves, others, and the world around them. Build techniques to develop trust and collaboration with others. The young activists will learn to write a petition or letters to their legislatures to influence and make a change in their community.  Students will receive a certificate of completion in Civic Engagement Non-Violence Communication.
