Earth Music for Early Childhood: Songs, Science, and STEAM Activities for the Classroom 10/18/17

Target Audience: Preschool Teachers, Kindergarten and Primary Grade Teachers, Early Childhood Supervisors Description: The care of our precious planet is always a timely subject but especially now as our environment and its inhabitants are increasingly threatened. Educators have a responsibility to teach children how to be great Earth citizens. Music provides instant motivation and access to ideas about preserving and protecting our valuable natural resources, endangered species, and the beauty and wonder on which humanity thrives.

Join Professor in Residence, Bob Messano, for an interactive and creative experience. Guitar Bob's music features themes that put children in touch with nature. Learn how you can use music to bring science concepts and environmental awareness into the lives of children. Get ready to explore singing, songwriting, and moving to music. Bring back musical activities to enliven and enrich your classroom, your school, and your community of learners.
