Communication Disorders in Early Childhood 4/26/16

Difficulty in any area of speech or language function may impact a child’s academic success and learning.  Children with communication disorders often do not perform at grade level.  Dr. Keeler will describe a variety of speech and language disorders that may affect children in grades K-3 including speech sound disorders, stuttering, language disorders, and autism spectrum disorder.   She will also provide classroom strategies for remediation and support.

The Children’s Health Issues Workshops will be held at William Paterson University, 1600 Valley Road,  Wayne.
