CIVIL MEDIATION TRAINING COURSE 2018 | 40 Hours

Meets New 40-Hour Requirement to Become a
NJ Court Approved Mediator

Learn how to mediate and enhance your conflict resolution
skills. Complement your practice or build a new career with this
40-hour* basic civil mediation training class which will teach
you the skills and techniques necessary to effectively mediate.
You will learn how to manage and resolve conflicts in a wide
variety of situations, and to facilitate solutions for high conflict
and emotionally-charged disputes. You’ll also improve your
communication and negotiation skills and your ability to work
successfully with other professionals in the mediation forum.
This highly interactive course puts learning into practice through
demonstrations, exercises, real-life negotiation scenarios and
mediation role plays. Participants will gain indispensable skills,
and receive constructive feedback and individual coaching from
professional mediators.

the New Jersey Civil Court Roster. Other requirements must be
fulfilled pursuant to N.J. Court Rule 1:40.
