Becoming an Effective Mentor! 11/16/17

Target Audience: Pre-K to Grade 12 teachers who are tenured, have received an evaluation of "Effective" or "Highly Effective," and have been recommended by their principals to be mentors of first year teachers, teachers new to the district, and cooperating teachers for clinical interns (student teachers).

Description: The State of New Jersey requires that "mentors" of first year teachers and those new to the district, receive six hours of mentoring training, which includes the principles of adult learning, roles and responsibilities of mentors, and orienting novices about school procedures. Come role play and consider typical scenarios!  Turnkey in your school or district.
