Medical Assistant – 330 Hours

The 330 hour Medical Assistant course includes 165 hours of classroom instruction and 165 hours of supervised internship. Instruction modules are: Interpersonal Relations; Phlebotomy; Vital Signs; EKG; Infection Control/OSHA Requirements; Cardiovascular System; Anatomy and Physiology. This course also focuses on the business administration of a medical office. This program does not require a previous background in the medical field; this program is for entry- level participants.

Course fees include 165 hours of instructor time; 165 hours of supervised internship; participant course materials; AMCA test and license fees for all participants.

Class: Monday and Wednesday (8:00 am - 1:00 pm)

Tuesday will be virtual (8:00am- 1:00pm)

Internship: Thursday & Friday (8:30 am - 4:00 pm)

Provided Materials: Medical Assisting Administrative & Clinical Competencies

Required Materials (Not included in fee): Stethoscope, scrubs, blood pressure cuff, malpractice insurance, and CPR certification.
